Frequently Asked Questions
What does “dry-hire” mean?
You provide the alcohol, and we handle everything else: the custom cocktail menu, setup, service, and cleanup. We never sell or supply alcohol.
What do I need to provide?
Alcohol, any required permits, and a bar table if your package doesn’t include one. We also ask you to supply ice, mixers, garnishes, and disposable cups, unless you add our Everything But the Alcohol bundle, in which case we bring those too.
How do I know how much to buy?
After booking, we send a tailored shopping list with exact quantities for your guest count, so there’s no guesswork or overbuying.
How much do packages cost?
Packages start at $350 for 3 hours with one bartender. Final pricing depends on guest count, event length, venue, and any add-ons you choose. Send us your details for a custom quote.
How many guests can one bartender serve?
One bartender comfortably serves up to about 50 guests. For larger events, we add a second bartender or a barback so lines stay short.
Can you make non-alcoholic drinks?
Yes. Our Zero-Proof Bar Upgrade features a themed mocktail menu with premium ingredients, and we can design a signature mocktail for your event.
Can you create custom cocktails?
Absolutely. Every booking includes a complimentary beverage consultation and a custom cocktail menu, and our Signature Cocktail Design add-on creates drinks around your theme.
How do deposits and payments work?
A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves your date, and the balance is due 48 hours before your event. Add-ons can be added up to 5 days before, subject to availability.
Do you travel outside Boston?
Yes. Travel is included within 30 miles of Boston, and events farther out incur a mileage fee.
Are your bartenders certified and insured?
All our bartenders are TIPS-certified, and we carry general and liquor liability insurance. We’re happy to provide documentation if your venue requires it.
Is gratuity expected?
We welcome a tip jar display at your event. If one isn’t allowed, a 20% gratuity is added to your booking.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, since popular dates fill quickly. Rush bookings may be available for an additional fee.
